Work has called me to the Rocky Mountains. For the next week, I'll be visiting Grand Junction, Colorado; Rock Springs, Wyoming; Dickinson, North Dakota and Billings, Montana. Oh Yah! Let's hope and pray that I have a good Bachelor watching experience. More than likely, the post will be late on Tuesday night. I have to get up at the crack of dawn in order to squish as many rig visits in to one day. But I promise I will write. Just don't expect it Tuesday morning. And while we are praying...let's hope that Dickinson, ND has Internet access in their hotels! Rocky Mountain high...over and out!

Due to crazy scheduling conflicts with work and other things, I am not going to be able to watch the show until Wednesday after work, so thank goodness I will only have to wait 12 hours after the blog is posted to read it!! :)

Bachelor Andy should have gotten his veneers at least 6 months prior to the show's beginning so that his upper lip did not stick to them!
Stephanie from S.C face when she didn't get the one-on-one time on her group date...PRICELESS!!! :) I love my DVR, I rewound (rewinded?!) that part about 5 times just to see it, ha!
Agreed about Stephanie SC's face, can't wait until she gets the boot and turns psycho. I felt sort of sorry for Erin. I actually started to like her. Still favor Tessa, she is a doll, my money is on her.
What about that awful smooch sound when Andy and Tessa kissed? Very awkward to say the least.
Why does Andy keep asking these ladies if they've ever dated a doctor before? That's such an arrogant and awkward question!
How about when Andy walked Tessa and Payton through a doctor's office visit on the ship... ever so facinating! Seriously?! Snooze fest.

I was really upset to see peyton go. My money was on her. I hate to say it, but Tessa is not one of the prettiest girls. Also, why does he keep that other chick around (the star spangled banner chick). Can anyone tell me? Yes, she's smart. But I can't stand to look at her.
Payton (Peyton, whatever) wasn't the cutest either and being a former sorority girl myself, I can't imagine turning that into a career, seriously?!
If you were a Payton fan nontheless, I am sure you didn't appreciate the helicopter circling her like 5 times while she had to watch Andy and Tes fly away.
What about Kate's annoying outburst like "SHUT UP!!" and "You freaked me out" each time her name gets called at the rose ceremony. She sounds like she is 12 years old and acts like a complete brat. Can't see her sticking around much longer.
You should find some time in Rock Springs to blog. Lived there 10 months and there is nothing in that town. So glad we made it back to Texas!! Have a safe trip.

I was very sad that Tessa and Peyton were on the same date - that sucks - they were my favorite two!
I used to travel to Billings, MT all the time for work - you must go to Walker's Grill (across from Crowne Plaza in the booming downtown)! And, if a cute waiter named Guy (very tall, dark, reminds me of Clark Kent) is working, you must tell him Chicago Colleen sent you!
Did anyone else notice that Amber was conspicuously absent during most of this episode? They did not show her talking to Andy during the mudbath date, they did not show her talking to Andy during the pre-rose ceremony party. Nor did they ever even really show her during the boot-camp segment or talking to any of the other girls during the rest of the show. The first time I saw her at the end was during the actual rose ceremony. I live in her town and rumor is she gets a hometown visit. She apparently got approval from the school district for ABC to come film at the school where she teaches. Just wondering if anyone else noticed or maybe I am just watching for her too much since she lives here.

I didn't like Kate and I really didn't like her after this episode. Didn't like how she made a comment about the orphan kid in a fire. Wierd and just odd.
I'm looking most forward to when the next couple episodes are over....cause then the real competition will begin. I think he could have easily got rid of at least 4 others right now, that he's not sure about, and let the real competition begin!
Don't get me wrong...I'll enjoy every minute until then, but there are still a few I can see leaving the show, without leaving a gap behind.
1st rose Steph has got to be gone! I soooo loved that he gave her the last rose, put her back into her place and gave her new perspective :) That's the mean part of me.

I also noticed that they never showed Amber throughout last night's episode. I vote for Amber! I hated that Peyton was the one who got booted off b/c I don't think Tessa is pretty at all. I am not crazy about a lot of these girls- just a few. The last Bachelor had prettier girls than this one. I think it will be b/w Amber and Bevin at the end.
Andy has put the ladies in the order that they will go home with the exception of Amber and Danielle. He kept his top 4 (Bevin, Tessa, Amber and Danielle) then listed Tina & Stephanie W and then at bottom, going home next week are, Kate, Nicole & Stephanie T. Andy did this last week as well- his top 4 didn't change and his bottom 3, were the ones that went home last night-

Erin warning Kate "Don't pop it in my face" during the closing credits just about made me die laughing. Such irony that it may be a requirement for the only line of work she'll be able get now in Hollywood.

I am surprised Spephanie SC is still there. She is sort of the $3 bill chick of the show- obviously phony from the start. But, we all have to have one or two like Stephanie SC and the asian girl so we can ask, "WHAT foes he see (or not see) in her?"
How many people are actively annoyed by loudmouth, always inappropriate Kate?
So you're 24 years old, you own your own boutique, and you're kinda loud and extrovert--to the point where you worry the bachelor may think you're just a party girl and you have to let him know you're really more of a homebody . . . yet you have no clue how to get the cork out of a champagne bottle. How is this possible?
I really like Amber too - HATE Stephanie from SC - she is WAY too full of herself and I loved that he made her wait till the very end to get a rose (although I wish he wouldn't have given her one at all). She is Tacky with a capital T!
I don't think that you are being very nice to say that Tessa isn't pretty - If he were only choosing the "pretty" girls, then that would be a big problem. I think that is just mean - This is totally cheesy, but beauty is more than just looks. I think she is beautiful - she has a kind face and an even - temperament!

You know how we are always wondering why the O&G is always over-pronouncing Peyton's name? Did anyone notice yesterday how Tessa kept doing it as well? I'm wondering if pronounced it properly in the beginning, and then Peyton corrected them and told them to say it with a hard "T". There's no other excuse for such a horrible sounding name!
I live in Amber's hometown as well, and heard from neighbors that they saw the ABC crew for her hometown visit...she gets my vote! But she was very absent from last night's show...but with the previews she appears to be front and center next week!
Stephanie is really over confident and I cannot wait until she goes home. I thought perhaps it was going to be last night, but no luck!
I actually find Andy to be a tool. He has no personality, which is why:
1. He is single
2. He has to ask the girls if they ever dated a doctor; that is really all he has to offer
I really cannot believe he is asking the girls if they really like him. It just goes to show that even athletic, professionally successful men suffer from insecurity. (BTW If you have to ask me if I really like you then I probably don't.)
I think Tessa is pulling the strategy of "if I pretend like I am going to leave then I become more desirable." I guess it worked.
My last comment is from last week: ANDY DO NOT TELL US YOU ARE LOOKING FOR A WOMAN THAT LIKES THE SAME THINGS YOU LIKE (RUNNING, SWIMMING, BIKING, ETC) THEN GO AND CHOOSE A GIRL THAT WON'T GET HER HAIR WET IN THE WATER.
meredith, I'm with ya on the Tessa comments. She seems like a super nice 'real' person, and I think possesses an inner beauty that many of them lack. I say bully on him for seeing past outer beauty (not that I think she is not beautiful by any means either!)
I think Tessa is cute and it's definitely her personality that makes it evident. I just like her so it makes her more attractive overall. But my pick is Stephanie from Kansas, is that right?? The other Stephanie. I think she wins. I can't believe he actually proposes and I definitely think he's missing some major things in the personality department. It seems like he is a little weird (but HOW much better is he than the LAST bachelor, prince or no prince?)
Okay question - are the Tessa haters blonde? I'm a brunette and I think Tessa is quite pretty (exotic really). My best friend is blonde and it never fails when we see a movie or watch a show that she thinks the blondes are prettier and I think the brunettes are. Not that there aren't pretty blondes on the show - like the nice Stephanie. I just think brunettes are superior and she thinks blondes are - just a thought!....

I'm from Houston and last week I saw Hef's wife's counterpart at a bar. She's really beautiful in person and was with an incredibly attractive man!
