Meryl Streep is too old for the mom in my humble opinion. just putting it out there. but I guess it is too late since the movie is a done deal. The music is what makes the show anyway so hopefully the movie will be no exception. I'll see it for sure.
Go see Kite Runner for a precious little story while you wait.
Dear Lincee, As the year draws to a close, I want to thank you for some laughs in 2007. Loved your bachelor recaps--and I think you are better off without Brad, though I know you craved him. I think his Mom rules the roost, which is why he enjoyed playing with the girls like a cat with mice. He liked drawing them out, pulling their strings to make them say "I love you," only to dash their hopes. Not that I can't understand why he didn't pick them. Pretty, perky Jenny could be mushy and weepy, and the business-like DeAnna may be full of anger under her cool exterior. My guess is that Brad will end up with a tall, Texas blonde who is willing, at least initially, to let Brad's mom reign supreme. In any event, thank you for your wit and wisdom, and have a great 2008!
Thanks, Lincee, for posting the Mamma Mia! trailer! I had no idea a movie was coming out. I saw the show three times (in L.A. and Vegas) and LOVED it! This will be so cool! Aloha from Kauai
ABC has announced The Bachelor's twelfth installment will premiere on Monday, March 17 at 10PM ET/PT. The identity of the season's bachelor is still unknown.
LINCEE!! Not sure where to email you but thought this would work. Dr. Travis was on Dr. Phil today! He apparently is now giving advice on dating? are we kidding? He also wrote a book called Don't be THAT Girl.....still cute with the dimples...but is he no longer a doctor anymore? Hmmmm....
Don't know where to post this, so just doing it here. Dr. Travis Stork wrote a book "Don't Be That Girl" & will be doing a reading/signing at the Border's at the Time Warner Center in Columbus Circle in NYC tonight at 7pm!
I can't leave on comment on your regular blog so I'm doing it here.
Oh my gosh I am crying because I'm laughing so hard at your Christmas blog!!! LOL!! I mean, I'm sorry you hurt yourself of course, but man that was a funny story!
Your dad reminds me a lot of my father-in-law. He goes to farm auctions all the time and brings home the most random items. If we ever need ANYTHING all we have to do is ask him, because no doubt he's got about 5 of whatever we need.
Hope you had a great Christmas and can't wait for bachelor recaps again!!
My older sister taught me at a young age to say the ABCs, so when it was time to learn them in school, I memorized them backwards, and it has been my "stupid human trick" since I was five years old. I can also talk like I’m stuck in a closet.
