The Bachelor Recaps: Clarification...

Clarification...

One of the last questions of my previous posts was confusing to you readers but made TOTAL sarcastic sense in my head. Now that I've had a few days to clear my mind on a rig in the mountains of Wyoming, I see where you got confused.

Sadly, I was not invited to Women Tell All. I will be enjoying the musings of our host Chris Harrison just as you will...hiding behind a couch cushion in my living room while searching frantically for something to shove in my ears.

Here's looking forward to a marvelous train wreck!

THAT is a travesty!! I know your recap will be great anyway, but I was looking forward to some great in person snark.

Shame, shame, shame on ABC! Don't they know you are the ONLY reason thousands of us watch this dribble? Without your recap, I wouldn't waste my time!

Well, you'll be able to rewind at home - you would have missed that live.

Thanks for the terrific blog and for entertaining the masses.

A fellow Texan....

That is PURE stupidity on the part of ABC. I'm really bummed you weren't invited... I would have LOVED your insight!

just for the record - tessa was standing on the same side as jenni for the final rose ceremony... didn't have much luck checking the other proposals... maybe someone has them saved on tivo??

yeah i don't think it really matters which side they stand on...they have cameras everywhere!

ABC is so short-sighted. Your recap is the only reason I continue to watch the Bachelor. They need your wisdom and comments in order to give the show the "substance" that is otherwise so lacking.
I hope you have a great time writing the WTA recap. And, I hope you interject, several times, how "you don't know for sure, since you weren't invited." That should get the point accross. And, shame on the ABC intern who didn't send out your invitation, despite what the producers said. Don't the interns know that you can be merciless?
Can't wait to see who will cry, who will be wearing a shoulderless top and who will be mean.

The following was posted at Kate's (Andy's season) blog:

okay everyone, i just came back from doing the Women-Tell-All episode. it will air next monday. thank the Lord i actually had a chance to defend myself a little bit. an audience member asked me why i said i was a "christian" who acted so "free spirited" and i said my memorized answer that my mom helped me write!!! we'll see how much it gets edited. over all, the weekend with all of us girls reunited was a blast! really. we all were able to talk about what a hard time we've had since the show has been on and discuss all the things the producers had us do and say. it was good to know that i wasn't the only one who was feeling this way and that even some of their families were unhappy with their actions! the producers were really nice to us this time around. some even apologized to me for the harsh editing i received. not that it changes how people view me. i thought i was gonna throw up sitting on that stage in front of that audience. i just knew they were going to attack me at any point!! they didn't. they were so sweet. they even cheered. then, i wanted to cry when i saw that i had more fans than i thought!! i've enjoyed interviewing and even the talk shows who are making fun of me. i can take it!!! sticks and stones right? thank you to all of you amazing people on here who are really trying to understand us "bachelor victims"!! and thank you "brother". very sweet remark. kate and A.Y.-love you girls!! you have really helped us new victims get through some hard times!! i told all the girls over the weekend about you!!! they say to tell you thank you also! some of the girls are coming to stay with me here in austin in december!! boy will Brad have his hands full! he's the sweetest guy, by the way. kate, you should come visit too because you have fans here!!! you can have a day of beauty at my spa! blessings!!

I was checking my Tivo and saw that there is an "after the rose" show... do they usually do this? And if so, why can't I remember it?

Since there have been no teases as to the finale... I'm dying to see this show.

Kate's blog says she's a victim. Whatever!! She signed up for the show.

Lincee, I hate to say this cuz you always get it RIGHT on, but Bets didn't say she fell in love WITH herself, she fell in love BY herself. Love ya!

Lincee,

Sometimes I catch other blogs advertised on here, and it just shows me how truly talented you are. Love the sarcasm by the way. That's not necessarily a given with Texas women, so I'm impressed. I'm still going to fight you for Brad since I live in Texas too. But, I'll play nice just because you entertain the hell out of me every week. ABC's got nothing on you girl!

After the Final Rose is a show that they usually do. ABC quit having this episode after the Paris season (I think), when Travis Stork and the gal he picked had split up by the time the show taped. It was such a huge disappointment that ABC probably figured it would be better to ax that show and let people find out slowly about a break-up than have it revealed only 1 week after fans saw the "proposal".

I think it's great they've brought this episode back. Maybe it means that he and whomever he chose really are happy and still together. We haven't seen a lasting couple since Silver Centrum.

Either way, I still enjoy seeing the Afte the Final Rose episode...even if Lincee doesn't usually write a recap on it. Maybe she'll change her mind this year?? (wink, wink, Lincee - our mouths are watering for a recap on ATFR episode)

Oh wait... now I remember the "after the rose" episode. Last season it was Andy & Tessa with a cast bound Bevin, right? I remember Bevin being pretty cool, despite what had happened.

Of course... from what I hear the Andy and Tessa thing was a bust too! Lets hope our Brad has more luck.

I was actually impressed with how Hillary handled herself last night with the whole "friend" thing ... still disappointed Solisa didn't get to defend her Christian antics ...

The way Brad keeps talking, it makes it sound like he's not with the person anymore. He doesn't ever say he found a wife/fiance/great girl, he just says he was true to himself and he's happy. Am I the only one who notices this?

9:57 I noticed that, too. If he's single, I'm making a road trip to Austin! I heart Brad.
