Bless Their Hearts

From the ABC press release announcing The Bachelor:

“… two women sneak off to the kitchen to cook something special for Baldwin's birthday bash; two more get into an alcohol-fueled argument; another challenges him to a push-up contest; an acrobatic suitor performs some back flips in an evening dress; and another belts out "The Star Spangled Banner."

This is too good to be true.
Three days and counting...

Yes indeed; this season made possible (as usual) by a generous grant from Seagram's.

Two days until drunk girls humiliate themselves on national television. I'm so excited and I just can't hide it!

FYI Lincee - Alexis is a graduate of your alma mater, a recent graduate of the same law school and Miss Waco USA. This should make for a great season!

did anyone else catch Beetle Bailey on "The View" Friday? He has admitted to a proposal (no "will you wear this rock on your right hand" crap), and finding the "love of his life". Hhmmmmmm. . .this is going to be so great! Lincee, you're going to be VERY busy!!!!! Giddyup!

. . . let the train wreck begin!!

Here are two links with our newest bachelor! Wow. He seems to be a very real, very decent guy. If he doesn't find himself a wife out of this, then I am more than happy to volunteer for the job.

On behalf of everyone from Birmingham and the entire state of Alabama, let me be the first to apologize for Blakeney. She must have kept the bartenders pretty busy that night!

Bless their hearts indeed...I hope Lt. McDreamy doesn't let us down!

There sure were a lot of Texas girls and girls from the South. My cable cut out right when the rose ceremony began. DANG IT!

It's sad when I'm more excited about reading your commentary on the episode than the actual episode itself. As a Kansas native and a KU grad I'm embarassed to be from the same state as that tantrum throwing girl.

I could barely leave my house this morning for the shame the KU girl caused all of us in the Sunflower State on the show last night. For what it's worth, we're all not that crazy.

I think the only saving grace is that she must not be a true Jayhawk because Jayhawks would never sell out and say something like "I'm actually a Duke fan" even to land a catch like Andy Baldwin.

Oh the drama . . . I can't wait, Lincee, for your recap!!

OH the drama! Can't wait for the recap. Bring it on!!!

Can't believe it...another season of the Bachelor. First episode as mind boggling as the last. My favorite: The deer in headlights girl who thought he was her mirror image who worked out all the time and stalked him on the internet. She didn't get a rose...SHOCKER! Can't wait for the recap.

Where are your updates??????

I’m dying to read your recap!!

was it just me, or is the doc kind of a dork?

Recap time!!! I'm so excited. Last night was too perfect. Oh the train wreck of goodness! KU girl had the most obnoxious laugh ever. It's unfortunate that some of the more colorful characters didn't get picked. They would've made things interesting.

I wonder how many times I'll refresh my browser today...

Can't wait for the recap! :)

Was it just me, or did looking at Erin, the Dallas girl, hurt your eyes? I think she must have dunked her head in peroxide before the show!!!

I can't wait. PLEASE post your recap soon. Last night's episode was too good - and I went to high school with Peyton, the birthday girl. I have given your site to all of my friends and we're all excited - probably more excited about your blogs than the show.

so does everyone call her "Pay-ton"? I can't believe that no one has mentioned the resemblence of Dr. McDork to "Hubbel"!!?? Does no one else see it?

I would like to point out that the girl from Lawrence, KS went to UNLV, so KU doesn't have to be completely stunned at the girl's behavior.

No one calls her Pay-ton. Andy is just so awkward in the presence of attractive females that he cannot grasp the simplicity of her name. I mean, he FAKE CRIED during the Star Spangled Banner... We've all been discussing PAYTON and no one understands why he says that - maybe he was drunk? HA HA!! What a weirdo!

I live in Kansas City, MO and I feel for you Lawrence students. WOW. WOW. WOW. Does anyone have a class with her or did she decide to take the semester off so that she could change her name and shave her head? WOW.
